A massive well-done to the “heroic” members of the Petty team who completed the Three Peaks walk earlier this month. The walk was part of our efforts to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice’s Corporate Challenge.
The Hospice performs heroically for our community, so we felt that it would be appropriate and a bit of fun to dress as Super Heroes for the 26 mile walk that takes in the summits of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Our Residential Director, Ian Bythell, said: “Sore feet and aching limbs couldn’t take the shine off an excellent day and a brilliant effort from the team. It’s quite a gruelling walk, but we all made it round and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
