Almost But Not Quite

Last week saw the good and the great attend a lavish awards ceremony at the magnificent Towneley Hall for the Burnley Business Awards. The awards which are held biennially showcase and recognise the fantastic companies in Burnley, and we were extremely honoured and pleased to have been nominated in the Apprentice category.

As the areas only Relocation Agent Network members we have always valued and placed high importance on staff training and on apprenticeships. We’ve never treated them any differently from any other staff member. We see them as an investment in the growth and sustainability of our company and as valued members of staff. We help and support all our apprentices as much as we can and insure they are fully immersed in their positions, which allows them to gain the essential knowledge that applies to their roles and gives them a broad understanding of business principles and the principles of customer service that builds a solid foundation on which they can progress their career. Indeed we’re so confident in our apprentices abilities it was Izzy Heap one of our apprentices that lead our presentation to the judging panel. She rose to the occasion and did a cracking job with all the judges commenting on her professionalism and confidence.

However we were up against some tough competition on the night and whilst we didn’t win the overall award we are extremely proud of all of our apprentices and the hard work they’ve all put in. They’re all winners in our eyes.
