With investment in people clearly evident within the business blueprint, Petty is looking to take this a stage further by building on the foundations made with Liverpool John Moores University.

Over the last couple of years Petty’s has been liaising with John Moores University in an advisory capacity to ensure the courses they deliver are relevant and reflective of what is currently happening in the industry. The team has visited and also presented to students before taking part in a Q and A session and they are now looking to develop the relationship further, a move which will see the firm take more of a hands on role and an investment in future generations of aspiring surveyors looking to take that first step into the sector.

John Baron, Director said “With over 150 years of combined experience in the Petty team, this wealth of knowledge is invaluable and the possibility of providing training and possible employment opportunities for students in this difficult and challenging market is high on our agenda.

“We have been working with the University for a number of years now and we are hopeful that by taking this relationship forward in this way, we are helping carve successful careers for graduates whilst inherently boosting the calibre of surveyors entering the North West property scene.”

Liverpool John Moores University is one of the pre-eminent Universities in providing excellent courses for would be Chartered Surveyors and such a relationship would only serve to enhance our growing profile and reputation as a provider of regional property advice across the north of England.
