New Bricks from Old

A NEW housing development, The Old Brick Works, in Colne stands out as being a bit different from the rest. Situated at the top of Knotts Lane with stunning views across Colne to Pendle Hill, the small private development of five houses couldn’t be better located.

Built on the site of an old brick works the developer wanted to bring the derelict area back to life by building high spec 4 bedroom homes. The houses will be around 10% bigger than the standard four bed properties with each bedroom effectively being a double.

A spokesman from Lancaster Homes said “The attention to detail, such as the larger more modern skirting boards, the German designed kitchens and the York stone patios elevates the properties and makes them that bit different from the rest. From the outset, we have paid attention to craftsmanship and detail and worked hard to make sure our customers can be proud of their homes”

“That’s why it was important to us to have the right agents involved. Petty have a good working knowledge of the local area and they’re well established, well known and well respected with a similar passion for the area that we have”.

“We see this development as being attractive not only to locals, but also people looking to relocate here from outside the area. Pendle is easily commutable to Manchester and Leeds and has a lot to offer in terms of work life balance for a family.”

Ian Bythell, Residential Director at Petty, added: “As the area’s only member of the Relocation Agent Network we’re uniquely placed to recognise the offering The Old Brick Works provides for people looking to relocate to Pendle, and where else can you get views like this! The show home will be open to view at the beginning of June and with two of the five properties already sold, we don’t think it will be long before the rest are snapped up”
