YVL Shortlisted

Your Village Life, our property and lifestyle magazine, has been shortlisted in the 2013 CIPR North West PRide awards.

The magazine, which is researched and written by public relations agency, Kara Rose PR and produced by Root52 launched in 2010 and has been recognised within the ‘Best External Publication’ category in the coveted awards which attract entries from agencies across the North West and recognise the outstanding talents and achievements of public relations practitioners across the UK’s regions and nations. They are the most prestigious and rigorous awards of their kind.

The team  produce Your Village Life  and  between them have seen the magazine flourish from the initial 20 page publication to the highly anticipated 52 page high-end read that it is today.  From concept the creation, the team considers pertinent story angles and collectively they ensure the magazine is the perfect mix of properties on the market, lifestyle articles, celebrity interviews and advice columns, supported with advertising of leading players in the region.

The magazine itself has grown in strength year on year and which now boasts a loyal and growing fan base across the Burnley and Pendle areas in which Petty operates its residential sales and lettings business.

Ian Bythell, is thrilled with the nomination and said: “Your Village Life was born when we realised we were committing a high annual budget to do our own advertising in other publications and this provided the perfect route to market which our target audience have very much adopted, giving us a far greater return on investment.  This couldn’t have been achieved without creating the right ‘look’ and overall design and without content written in such a way that captures the attention of its readers.  We are thrilled the magazine has been shortlisted as we are punching above our weight against national competition and we just look forward to the award night itself.”

The CIPR PRide North West award winners will be announced at a glamorous black tie dinner at Lancashire County Cricket Club on 13th November 2013.
